Candle Care
Our unique hand poured candles are designed to bring architectural elegance to your home, space and events. Using high quality vegetable based wax and the highest quality cotton wicks; our candles provide an even, long-lasting burn when lit provided the instructions below are followed.
First Burn
- Place your candle on a level, heat resistant surface before lighting to collect wax that may drip.
- Light your candle for 1-2 hours on first burn to allow a melt pool to develop. It is recommended to allow your melt pool to reach as far to the pillar edges as possible. Your melt pool will define the longevity of your candle – the smaller the melt pool to pillar width ratio, the faster the candle will burn through.
Our candle wicks have been selected to allow for the longest burn time possible.
Regular Use
- Place your candle on a level, heat resistant surface before lighting to collect wax that may drip.
- We recommend trimming your wick to 5mm-1cm before lighting your candle again. This ensures a consistent, smoke-free flame.
- We recommend limiting burn time to 3-4 hours at a time.
Storage and Safety
- Always light your candle in a well-ventilated space and away from flammable objects.
- Always store your candles in a cool dry place below 25°C and away from direct sunlight. This will ensure your candles maintain their vivid colours and reduce the likelihood of a potential unwanted ignition.
- Keep lit candles away from any flammable objects, including matches and wick trimmings or loose tabletop decor. Keep away from children and pets.
- Never leave a lit candle unattended. Make sure to blow it out before leaving a room or before going to bed!
It is recommended to follow these instructions to avoid a fire, hazard or injury and to ensure the best, longest lasting burn from your candle.
